Harvey Fierstein to Emcee Abbott Award Gala Honoring Jerry Mitchell; Kerry Butler, Matthew Morrison, Marissa Jaret Winokur Will Perform
Tony-winning director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who was recently nominated for the 2013 Tony Awards for Best Choreography and Best Direction of Kinky Boots, will be honored with the 2013 "Mr. Abbott" Award May 13 at B.B. King. Harvey Fierstein will emcee the event, which will include performances from original Hairspray stars Kerry Butler, Matthew Morrison, Marissa Jaret Winokur and more.
