Timmy the Great Musical, Helmed by Casting Director Jay Binder and Hair Choreographer Julie Arenal, Opens Aug. 18 by Michael Gioia

Timmy the Great, the new musical based on the children's book "King Timmy the Great" by Sandra Hochman and Tad Danielak — which was inspired by Polish martyr Janusz Korshak's book "King Matt The First" — officially opens Aug. 18 after previews that began Aug. 15 at Theater for the New City.
