Sting aims to match Billy Elliot Broadway success with Newcastle shipyard musical The Last Ship

Can Sting's first Broadway musical do for shipbuilding what Billy Elliot did for the coal industry? A new stage show written by the star will tell the story of the decline of the Swan Hunter ship during the 80s in the musician's native Newcastle.
