Though David Cooper has provided us with a series of gorgeous photos for Jim Friel's Faith Healer at Shaw Festival, we particularly like this one of Jim Mezon (in the title role). Not only does it capture the era in both set, costume and detail, it also has a grim, washed-out melancholy quality which is at the centre of the play: is the man a huckster or is there something true and heart-felt there...or both.
