Washington's Tony-Winning Shakespeare Theatre Company Reaches Settlement With Landlords by Michael Gioia

The Tony Award-winning Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC, has reached a settlement with the landlords of the Lansburgh building — who were demanding $480,000 (as opposed to its $70,000 annual cost) for its 450-seat facility — according to the Washington Post.
