Katie Holmes Joins Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges in THE GIVER by Movies News Desk

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Katie Holmes has signed on for the film adaptation of the hit young adult novel THE GIVER by Lois Lowry, directed by Philip Noyce. The movie will hit theaters on August 15, 2014, also starring Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges and Brenton Thwaites. Michael Mitnick penned the script.
