TV Pioneer and Broadway Vet Sid Caesar Dies at Age 91 by Imogen Lloyd Webber

Screen icon and Tony nominee Sid Caesar has died aged 91 years old. According to the L.A. Times, the Yonkers New York-born comedian passed away at his home in Beverly Hills after a brief illness. Caesar was best known for his pioneering TV work on the weekly live comedy program Your Show of Shows, which began in 1950 and where he collaborated with such luminaries as Mel Brooks and Neil Simon.
