Tony-Winning A Raisin in the Sun, Starring Denzel Washington, Recoups Broadway Investment by Ryan McPhee

Hot off the heels of winning the Tony for Best Revival of a Play, A Raisin in the Sun has announced that it has recouped its entire capitalization. The show, directed by Kenny Leon and starring Denzel Washington, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Sophie Okonedo and Anika Noni Rose, began previews on March 8 and opened on April 3.
