Macbeth , Ambassadors Theatre, London by Mark Shenton

Ambassadors Theatre, London: Director Ed Hughes gives his necessarily youthful reading of Macbeth for the National Youth Theatre an arresting opening that could have come straight out of the musical Cabaret, as an emcee-like, accordian-bearing character offers us a 'willkommen'. It then sweeps to a ballroom, where the military-dressed men are sporting German iron crosses. Read the full review
