Theatre Royal, Glasgow: Ashley Page, one-time artistic director of Scottish Ballet, makes his Scottish Opera debut directing a deliciously abstract and dance-orientated production of Orfeo ed Euridice. While using Gluck's original score, Page and head of music Derek Clark have mixed in much of the ballet music from the Paris revisions and taken the split as Orfeo enters Elysia.
