Stage preview: Screenwriter took her time bringing 'Dirty Dancing' to stage by Sharon Eberson / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

It took 25 years and a Bruce Springsteen concert for screenwriter Eleanor Bergstein to adapt "Dirty Dancing" into a live musical. Now, 10 years old and a success from Australia to Europe, the show is on its maiden U.S. tour and fast approaching Pittsburgh.
