Annaleigh Ashford Performs "Slide Some Oil to Me" From The Wiz
Annaleigh Ashford lobbied tirelessly to get her high school to stage a production of The Wiz in which she would play the Tinman. Sadly, her efforts failed and her dream went unfulfilled until now. At this year's Miscast benefit, Ashford finally got the opportunity to take on the role as she performed "Slide Some Oil to Me." See Betsy Wolfe stun the audience with a tune from Violet.
