"Les Miz" Star Samantha Barks Will Lead Musical Adaptation of "Amlie" by Michael Gioia

Samantha Barks, who played the ill-fated Eponine in the film adaptation of Les Misérables, will star in Berkeley Repertory Theatre's world-premiere musical adaptation of Amélie, which is based on the Academy Award-nominated film and will be directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon, Playbill.com has learned.
