Rufus Norris Appoints Deputy Artistic Director and Creates New Work Department by Mark Shenton

Rufus Norris, artistic director of the National Theatre, has appointed Ben Power as deputy artistic director, and also announced the creation of a New Work department that will be headed up by Emily McLaughlin with a brief to commission and develop productions for the National's four stages, bringing together the NT’s Literary Department and the Studio, its R&D centre.
