Meryl Streep and 2015 Tony nominee Carey Mulligan play early 20th century campaigners for women's right to vote in the new film "Suffragette," now scheduled as the opening feature at the 59th BFI London Film Festival, Oct. 7, according to Deadline Hollywood. The film is set for release in the U.S. Oct. 23.
