Bankruptcy Court Says New York City Opera Can Sing Again; First Production Set
New York City Opera, which collapsed under a pile of debt in 2013, will get the chance to rise from its deathbed like Violetta in La Traviata and sing again thanks to a decision from the Bankruptcy Court of Manhattan, which Jan. 12 approved a group's plan to restart the company, according to a report in The New York Times.
