Alan Rickman, Harry Potter's Snape, Dead at 69 by Robert Viagas

Alan Rickman, the British stage actor who achieved immortality in his signature role as the forbidding potions master Prof. Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films, has died of cancer at age 69, according to Deadline.com.
