Ghost Posters Appear on 44th Street Can You Guess the Year?
Demolition and construction around New York City often reveal antique signs painted on the sides of buildings, which disappeared from view when a new building went up next door. They're known as "ghost signs." On Manhattan's 44th Street, four ghost posters appeared Jan. 26 when workers at the Broadhurst Theatre took down an old sign.
