Time Out Theater Review: "A Free Man Of Color"
They don’t make ‘em like this anymore -- a globetrotting epic with sex, politics, exuberant lyrical language, a big cast and eye-popping sets. There’s a reason why they don’t: there’s so much room to fail. "A Free Man of Color" is often shrill and scattered, but it’s hardly ever dull.
