La Monnaie presents 'Pinocchio'
The world premiere of 'Pinocchio,' initially commissioned by the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, was held on September 5 at Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie and the show will be running through September 16, 2017. The musical direction of La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra has been entrusted to Patrick Davin, the Belgian conductor who is very familiar with the world of Boesmans, of whom he has conducted almost all the operas. …
