Should Visual Artists Get Resale Fees?
Sotheby's to artists: "Drop Dead!" - Chuck Close, Frank Stella and others file class action lawsuit against Sotheby's, Christie's and E-Bay to try to recoup resale fees for their artwork. In response to the lawsuit Sotheby's responds, "We believe the claim is meritless, and it will be vigorously defended." Meritless, I tell you! Foolish artists, want to get paid for their work!
